How to mount a camera to a ceiling tile

Drop ceiling tiles are too weak to hold a camera alone. Here is how I mount one so it stays solid in offices and garages.

In this video I mount a security camera to a drop ceiling tile.

A tile on its own will sag. Back it with a plate or bracket so the load spreads across the grid, and run the cable above the tile.

This is common in Phoenix offices, shops and finished garages with suspended ceilings.
