The desert sun is hard on paint: UV fades color and breaks down cheap coatings, and stucco moves with the heat. Good prep and the right product matter more here than almost anywhere. In summer I schedule exterior work early in the day.

I spot-fix the trim that is failing, prime all bare wood, and color-match to your existing paint. If the touch-up would show, I recommend painting the whole wall or section to its corners so it blends.
