How I approach tv wall mounting
We pick the height together (eye level for seating, or a tilt mount when it has to go over a fireplace). I find the studs or drill masonry with the right anchors, level the mount, and load-test it before the TV goes on. Outdoor TVs go in the shade where possible because the Phoenix sun overheats screens fast.
Code note: In-wall cable runs need wiring rated for in-wall use; I don't run a regular power cord inside the wall. I use an in-wall power kit instead.
